R4 DS Lite, R4i, DSTT and EDGE cards are adaptors the same size and shape a regular Nintendo DSi game. A microSD memory card with firmware and multimedia installed on it is placed into the R4, DSTT or EDGE card which in turn is pushed into the catridge slot on the Nintendo DS, DSi or DSi XL console.
